Welcome to the ZioKnight
Week of June 9, 2024
It is common for groups with special interests to hide their intentions behind a facade. The Ceasefire Now believers, Pro-Hamas protestors, and Hamas itself all fine tune their messages to appeal to the widest variety of audience, while stoking the hatred, anger, vitriol, and violence endemic to their causes.
This week’s issue takes a moment to recognize these hidden motives and expose what they are: antisemitic.
Sunday 6.9
Unsurprisingly, the man holding Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv captive in his home was a journalist for the Qatari government owned “Al Jazeera” and Washington State based, “The Palestinian Chronicle.” This is a revealing fact about the reliability of the Hamas Health Ministry’s lists of “journalists” and “civilians” killed. [1][2]
Monday 6.10
Reports out of Saturday’s Pro-Hamas protest on the White House Lawn reveal the true character of the supposed “ceasefire now” folks. They threw objects at police officers, vandalized a public park, and chanted “there is only one solution: intifada revolution.” For reference, “intifada revolution” is glorifying the deadly bus bombings, stabbing, shootings, and other terrorist activities against Israelis during Palestinian revolts in the late 80s and early 2000s.
They doubled down on Monday by waving the Hezbollah flag at a protest outside of the Nova Festival Memorial Exhibit in New York City.
Using some deducing, it becomes clear that what they are really advocating for is a pause in fighting for Hamas to rearm and commit another 10/7. [3][4][5][6]
Tuesday 6.11
A Wall Street Journal Special Report details the Leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar’s, master plan.
He recounted that “we make the headlines only with blood… no blood, no news.” Additionally, he pushed his leadership to prolong the war because he was “ready for the onslaught.”
Hamas’ leadership, statements, and supporters abroad don’t even try to hide their bloody desires. They want to eliminate the state of Israel. Their strategy is fine tuned to achieve this goal.
To onlookers, they intend to appear as freedom fighters, who are being disproportionately attacked by the “oppressive Israeli Army.” This succeeds because they bolster their own death count.
But when people look deeper and read their statements and manifestos, their genocidal intentions are clear as day.
This dual messaging strategy appeals to a greater audience to stoke hatred of Israel among moderates and extremists. [7]
Wednesday 6.12
Israel struck the Hezbollah problem at its root by eliminating a top commander who was considered the “source of knowledge” for targeting northern Israeli towns, such as Kiryat Shmona.
Hezbollah responded by lobbing 215 rockets into Israel, which was its largest barrage during this conflict. As Israel expected such a response, precautions were taken, and there were no casualties. [8][9]
Thursday 6.13
A groundbreaking bill reinforcing America’s support of Israel and Jews around the world just passed its first vote in the House of Representatives. If ultimately passed, this bill would doll out over $4 billion in security support of Israel, combating antisemitism in the US, and fostering bonds between Israel and other countries.
Additionally, it could bar US funding to UNRWA, the ICC, and ICJ for their blatant anti-Israel bias. Although the bill is subject to change as it moves through the legislative process, this proposal is an incredible starting point. [10][11]
Friday 6.14
A new Palestinian poll shows what the people of Gaza and Judea and Samaria really feel about this war. More than 60% support the atrocities of 10/7, support for an armed struggle against Israel increased, and support for a two state solution fell. Do with this what you may. [12]
Saturday 6.15
Following a successful operation by the Combat Engineering Battalion 601, killing 50 Hamas gunmen, 8 IDF soldiers were tragically killed. The operation lasted all night. As they were on their way back to safe buildings to rest, the tank they were in was targeted by an explosive device, leaving no survivors.
May their memories be a blessing. [13][14][15][16]
Question: What are Israel’s legal borders?
Answer: Israel was originally part of the British Mandate of Palestine. The territory was split into Transjordan and the British Mandate Zone (denoted in blue on the map) once it was decolonized by the British.
The principle in international law to regulate the territory is called Uti Possidetis Juris. It stipulates that the organized government in the territory is given sovereign control of the land.
Since Israel declared independence and the Arabs inhabiting the land didn’t, the entire territory in blue above is Israel’s.
Since Israel’s independence in 1948, various proclamations have been made regarding the land. However, none of which were binding, thus leaving the status quo Uti Possidetis Juris territory intact.
The Golan Heights was annexed by Israel. Israel’s sovereignty over territory isn’t as strong, but it is less questioned by the international community because of its paramount security importance [17][18]
