Welcome to the ZioKnight

And just like that the IDF has successfully taken out Hezbollah’s top leadership! Zip Recruiter, Indeed, and LinkedIn are reportedly fighting for the gig of replacing them. Top analysts suggest that the repeat business prospect is too good to pass up!

TikTok Recognizing the Similarities between Jews and Italians
I’ve always felt a bond between the Jewish and Italian communities. The TikTok above makes the acute observation that we are the “same corporation, different division.” The Italian Foreign Minister confirmed my suspicion at a sideline event of the UN General Assembly this past week.
He proudly announced Italy’s support of Israel, comparing Iran and its proxies with Russia’s aggression. He sternly condemned Spain’s unilateral recognition of a Palestinian State, recognizing that “the West Bank and Gaza [are] under terrorist control.” [1]

A new FBI report shows that antisemitic hate crimes skyrocketed a staggering 63% in 2023, since 2022. Antisemitic hate crimes make up 68% of all religious hate incidents, 16% of all hate crimes, and are the second-highest most common instances of hate.
I think there is some bias in the numbers because they didn’t differentiate between Anti-Zionist and Anti-Jewish hate crimes, which are totally unrelated… [2]

Rep. Auchincloss (left) and Rep. Torres (right)
I’ve been struggling with booking flights to Israel. The costs are through the roof and they’re always being canceled. Thank you Reps. Jake Auchincloss (D-MA) and Ritchie Torres (D-NY) for noticing this and doing something about it. Rep. Torres sent a letter to the major airline CEOs condemning their mass cancellation of flights to and from Israel without guidance from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to do so.
Rep. Auchincloss questioned the FAA administrator’s involvement in the bans, to which he responded: it wasn’t me. That leaves the question in the air, why is it safe for most European airlines and El Al to fly to Israel and not the American Airlines?
I’ve been to enough DEI training to ask them to “check their bias.” [3][4]
Wednesday 9.25
The United States, Australia, Canada, European Union, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and Qatar jointly proposed a 21-day ceasefire to Israel and Lebanon to relieve tensions. The countries are seeking diplomatic means to enforce UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which pushes Hezbollah forces 29 miles north to the Litani River. The authors also snuck a ceasefire in Gaza into the deal. [5]
Thursday 9.26
Former U.S. National Security Advisor, H.R. McMaster, describes the plan as “delusional.” He explains that peace negotiations with Iran and its proxies are “a fool’s errand [and Iranian proxies] will not be deterred at all until we impose costs on them that go far beyond the costs that they factor in when they take these aggressive actions.” [6]
Friday 9.27
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke before the UN General Assembly declaring Iran’s danger towards regional stability and Israel’s attempt to undermine their influence. He underlined his country’s efforts to make peace in the region and Iran’s aggression. He reminded the attendees that the war is tragic but necessary and that the objectives to curb Iranian ambitions are in the world’s interests. [7]
Saturday 9.28
Late Hezbollah Leader, Hassan Nasrallah
“He wasn’t another terrorist. He was the terrorist,” Netanyahu said in response to Hassan Nasrallah’s killing. Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, was targeted in a strike on a base in the basement of a structure in the Beirut suburbs. President Biden remarked that “his death… is a measure of justice for his many victims, including thousands of Americans, Israelis, and Lebanese civilians.” [8][9][10]
Question: What are the differences between the UN Security Council (UNSC) and General Assembly’s (UNGA) resolutions?
Answer: UNGA decisions are advisory while UNSC decisions have enforcement power. Interaction between states is described as anarchy because the rules can’t be enforced beyond borders. The UNSC is the most powerful way to implement laws beyond borders through joint action of UN member states.

On your 9/23 note. There is no difference between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitic. They are both anti-Jews.
