While scrolling through Instagram, I came across a trending post from an unexpected source: Cornell’s Class of 2029 account. The post featured a student with the last name Epstein. And after taking a look at the comments, I think he may be one of the only people who want the Epstein case to blow over more than Trump right now.
Sunday 7.20
Axios published accounts from anonymous administration figures venting their dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Netanyahu. [1]
Monday 7.21
Anti-Israel protestors vandalized AOC’s office with red paint for her support of Iron Dome funding for Israel. I did not see this one coming. [2]
Tuesday 7.22
The media often portrays pro-Israel and anti-Israel sentiment among Jews as a somewhat even split. The Jewish Insider provided a helpful breakdown of the data. Polls show that 72-86% of Jews are generally pro-Israel. The most anti-Israel group is the 18% of Jews concentrated on college campuses. [3]

Columbia University and the Trump administration reached a resolution to restore $400 million in previously cut federal funding. Columbia was fined $221 million and agreed to a range of measures to work towards ending anti-Jewish hate and ending racial considerations in hiring. [4]

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee made an astute observation about France’s move to recognize a Palestinian state, saying:

It seems that Hamas pulling out of the most recent round of negotiations was President Trump’s final straw. He said that the group’s leaders will be “hunted down.” [6]

Israel announced it will restart airdrops of aid, open humanitarian corridors, and reconnect power to a desalination plant to send water to Gaza. The IDF emphasized that military operations will continue. [7]
