Fake News, Terror in Colorado, Political Reactions, Training: The Weekly Conquest Week of 6.1.25 – 6.7.25
Welcome to the ZioKnight
Week of June 1, 2025
Knight Cake
A year ago, my dad and I were talking in shul (don’t tell my rabbis) and came up with the idea of sending a 1-2 minute weekly newsletter about Israel. 52 emails, it has been a year of publication! Thank you all so much for being the best subscribers I could ask for. Hopefully we will have many more years to come.
Sunday 6.1
Graphic Depicting the False Story
In middle school, my parents took me on a road trip down south to Atlanta. Naturally, we toured the city’s three main attractions: the Coca-Cola Museum, the aquarium, and CNN headquarters. During a tour of the headquarters, they explained the three layers of fact-checking that are applied to each article before publication.
Something must have changed since then because CNN published a very misleading story. A few networks picked up the article and gave the impression that the IDF fired on Gazans collecting aid. In reality, there were Gazans far away from the distribution site who illegally approached an IDF post. They were duly warned, and then the soldiers opened fire. [1]
Monday 6.2
A man savagely threw Molotov cocktails into a crowd of Jews gathering in honor of the hostages in Colorado. His reason was “to kill all Zionist people.” Eight were injured with burns. He was charged with a federal hate crime. [2][3]
Tuesday 6.3
Some political action was taken in response to the attack. Congress is considering designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terror group, but Trump hasn’t requested an increase in nonprofit security grants.
The assailant expressed support for the group, and these grants have been crucial in protecting Jewish institutions from rising antisemitism. [4][5]
Wednesday 6.4
Map of Travel Restricted Countries
Trump responded to the attack by banning travel from 12 countries and restricting travel from 7. In the interest of remaining non-partisan, I’ll leave it as that. [6]
Thursday 6.5
Senator Chuck Schumer, aka the self-proclaimed Schomer (guardian) of the Jews, requested Congress nearly double non-profit security grants to nearly $500 million. He emphasized bipartisan support from key Republicans on the Appropriations Committee that makes such decisions. [7]
Friday 6.6
The US announced 37 new sanctions against Iran’s shadow banking network. Iran avoids international sanctions with these vehicles to finance their global network of terror. If you want to learn more, check out my friend’s recently published law review article exploring the topic! [8]
Saturday 6.7
A deeply antisemetic neo-Nazi group called “The Base” is to hold their largest training event in America. Before dozens were arrested and the domestic branch of the group dissolved, they had 50 U.S.-based members. They have been growing in Ukraine to sabotage the war effort. Hopefully, we will use this gathering as an opportunity to catch its American members. [9]
Israel is a Terrorist state.
