Keffiyehs in the Classroom
SCOTUS, Aid, Ambassador Kushner, ADL Report, A Plan, Murder, Yair Golan: The Weekly Conquest Week of 5.18.25 – 5.24.25
Welcome to the ZioKnight
Week of March 18, 2025
This week, the Supreme Court tied on a vote, resulting in the adoption of a lower court ruling that there cannot be religious charter schools. My brother and dad were in the room when the decision was made. Unfortunately, I can not give you all a picture because cameras aren’t allowed in the building.
Earlier that day, I drove by a public elementary school with a large south-facing window spanning the side of the building. A massive keffiyeh mural on the opposing wall was visible to students and onlookers. I wonder what the court would think about this?
Sunday 5.18
Following pressure from Israel’s trade and security allies, she started delivering aid ahead of schedule. The Israeli defense cabinet voted to use existing channels to distribute aid while updated systems, including better verification systems, are being developed. [1]
Monday 5.19
The Senate confirmed President Trump’s pick of Charles Kushner for Ambassador to France. He has big shoes to fill in his position and family. Benjamin Franklin and John Adams famously secured French support for the American Revolution in this role. More recently, his son Jared’s diplomacy resulted in the Abraham Accords. Maybe he will convince some of France’s citizens to recognize Israel. [2]
Tuesday 5.20
The Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish Advocacy Organization, found a 434% increase in antisemitism in K-12 schools. Maybe let’s hold back on the keffiyeh murals, at least until those numbers come down a little. [3]
Wednesday 5.21
Following diplomatic tension with Europe and reported daylight with America, Netanyahu denied the reports about America and laid out a vision to end the war: “Hamas lays down its weapons, steps down from power, returns all the hostages, Gaza is demilitarized, and we implement the Trump plan.” That should surely be the end of any disputes. [4]
Thursday 5.22
Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lishinsky
A man brutally murdered two Israeli Embassy employees outside an AJC event at the Jewish Museum for young diplomats and Jewish professionals. The tragedy elicited almost universal condemnation, except for those who are clouded by the dangerous ideology of the unequivocal right for a perceived “oppressed” person to attack the perceived “oppressor” by any means necessary. [5]
Friday 5.23
Even Ye said, “I am done with antisemitism,” the morning after the shooting. I do not know what to think of that. His track record on the subject is tarnished, to say the least. [6]
Saturday 5.24
Yair Golan, the Israeli Democratic Party Leader, walked back his accusations of war crimes against the IDF. He narrowed his previous remarks to a few of his political adversaries. This is notable, as his original claims were very controversial in Israel. [7]
I’m calling for the destruction of the state of Israel. - Seems the only way to get their AIPAC Epstein claws off USA.
